Marjorie Ward January 9, 1947 - March 12, 2008 Age: 61 Residence: Eaton, Colorado Tribute: Marjorie Ann Ward was born in Greeley, CO to Dallas and Ethel (Phillips) Frantz. She grew up in the Galeton, CO area and graduated from Grover High School in 1965. After high school she attended Lamar Community College and graduated in 1967 with a degree in business. After college she returned to Eaton, CO and worked in the family business, the Frantz Café, where she met Gerald Ward. They were married in Galeton on February 25, 1973. Mrs. Ward helped on the family farm and for a number of years operated a store in Eaton where she sold Shaklee products. She was a great wife and mother who rarely missed one of her children’s school sporting events or activities. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and word puzzles. She was a member of the Eaton Volunteer Firefighter’s wives club, the "Torches”; the Ault Saddle Club, the Prairie View Social Club and enjoyed attending Joan Lynch’s Bible study group. Mrs. Ward died Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. Survivors: Her husband, Gerald Ward of Eaton; son Tim Ward and wife Molly of Nunn, CO; daughter, Pam Charbonneau and husband Seth of Littleton, CO. Proceeded in death by: Her parents and a sister, Betty Frantz. Services: 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2008 at Adamson West Chapel. Visitation: One hour prior to service at Adamson West Chapel. Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley.
