Jacob Emanuel Fromm

Jacob E. Fromm June 25, 1925 �" January 6, 2008 Age: 82 Residence: Greeley, Colorado Tribute: Jacob Emanuel Fromm was born in Ft. Collins, CO to Peter George and Mary (Bender) Fromm. He grew up in Greeley where he attended school and graduated from Greeley High School, now Greeley Central High School. At age 17 Mr. Fromm joined the U.S. Navy. He traveled throughout the world and became a Tech Rep in occupied Japan. While in Japan he met Marjorie Berrett. They were married on January 19, 1951. After being discharged from the U.S. Navy, he attended the University of Colorado where he received a BS in Physics in 1953 and a MS in Physics from the University of California Los Angeles in 1955. Mr. Fromm worked for IBM for many years in research and testing of electronics. Mr. Fromm died Sunday, January 6, 2008 at the Bridge Assisted Living in Greeley. Survivors: Sons, James R. Fromm and wife Laurie Smith of Las Cruses, New Mexico, Peter D. Fromm and wife Yoko of Leavenworth, Kansas, Roger L. Fromm and wife Ellen of Granite Bay, California, Erich A. Fromm and wife Diana of Greeley; 9 Grandchildren; brother, David Fromm and wife Phyllis of Longmont; sister, Esther Fromm of Greeley. Preceded in death by: Parents; brothers, Alex Fromm, Pete Fromm, Bill Fromm; Sister Mary Fromm. Services: None scheduled at this time.
