Mark Lawrence Griffith

Mark Lawrence Griffith passed into the loving arms of Jesus on February 24, 2024 at the age of 40. He was at home in Colorado Springs, which was the place of his birth on September 20th, 1983. 

Mark was a big hearted, humorous, and loving, son, father, husband, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was a talented cook, painter, guitarist, writer, and engineer and had a deep desire to help others in their struggles. Mark is survived by wife Lawana, and their children Shenoah(6), Meliah(4), and Mason (2). Parents, Steve and Brenda, brother Joel (Katie, Cayden, Luke, and Brekon), and brother Andy (Corey, Cael, and Declan). Mark is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, all who love him more than words can express. 

Marky Mark graduated in 2002 from Air Academy High School, and earned a BSc in Electrical Engineering 2006 from the University of Colorado (UCCS). He started his career in the Integrated Circuits business at Firstpass Engineering, and later moved over to the Aerospace industry where several of the designs he worked on have been sent up into the heavens. 

Rest in peace you early riser, a little bit of every sunrise will remind us of you. 

His family will hold a public celebration of life in the Stone Chapel on the Woodman Valley Chapel, Rockrimmon campus, Friday, March 15th, 2024, at 10am.  All are Welcome.
