Proverbs 31:31: "Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate."
Lee Rodriguez reached the end of her wonderful life on March 3, 2024 at the age of 79.
Born to Manuel Vasquez and Louise Whetstone on July 28, 1944, Lee was precious to everyone in her life. Lee’s love poured out through her hands, whether she was rolling tortillas, spreading tamales, cleaning houses, or rocking a baby to sleep. She left a piece of herself in everything she made and did. Her touch left impressions on all our hearts.
Lee was a caretaker through and through. If anyone was in need, she typically ended up finding a way to help, offering up anything she had. Her most treasured moments were those spent among her family. She was very blessed to have a son and two daughters, who then gave her six grandchildren, who then blessed her with four great-grandchildren. Not a day went by where she wasn’t praying for all of them. Lee’s family was arguably her proudest achievement in life.
Lee is survived by her husband, Manuel Rodriguez, her children Ed Rodriguez, Lori Martinez, and Nora Dozier, her grandchildren, Damitri Martinez, Desirae Martinez, Miranda Minter, Darian Martinez, Kaleb Dozier, and Brooke Springer, her great-grandchildren, Kalvin Dozier, Levi Dozier, Jeremiah Minter, Luciana Minter, her siblings, Rose Doll, Kathy Chrisinger, Joe Vasquez, Dee Niblett, Sam Vasquez, and Scott Whetstone.
