All Veterans Funeral & Cremation - Westminster
Judith C. Nowogrocki
March 6th, 1935 - January 18th, 2022
Blessed with an ever-present smile that warmed hearts anywhere and everywhere, Judith Carol Nowogrocki peacefully entered eternal rest on January 18th in Denver, Colorado. Even faced with the challenges of Alzheimer's Disease, she personified a life filled with faith, laughter, Polish traditions and family. She relished these gifts of life for 86 years. From her roots in Cleveland, Ohio, she demonstrated hard work and sincerity as a devoted wife, a supportive mom, a working professional, and then an all-caring "Busi" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Born to Chester and Helen Michalski, Judy attended St Stanislaus High School and married Bernard John Nowogrocki in 1955. She lost her brother, Ronnie, in a tragic car accident and her son, Thomas, as an infant. Yet, Judy knew how to be brave and how to remain positive in the face of such adversity. Few could match her inner strength. Judy had the gift of being a sincere listener. From infants to teenagers to adults, she demonstrated the uncanny ability of offering support at the precise moment of need; of understanding when we faced uncertainty, of encouragement for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to achieve their dreams. "Nothing ventured, nothing gained," she reminded us. That mantra became her own in 1993 when she and Bernie Sr. headed west to establish a new home and life in Denver. She remained a loyal and best friend to her children and their spouses: Bernie John, now deceased (Mary Lynn); Nancy (Paul Michaud, now deceased), Jimmy (Maureen) and Janet (Randy). Judy beamed the brightest smile for her grandchildren: Stephanie, Kristen (Matt), Mikey, Clare, Grace (Abe), Marta Jane, Elle, Max and Maggie, and her great-grandchildren: Avery, Maisy and Jane. They loved their Busi and she loved them right back. Though she has left this life, her smile remains forever in our hearts as a special gift of her endless love; and of her life's mission to teach us to love always. Rest in peace, Mom, Busi, Judy. We will miss you forever and a day. A Celebration of Life will take place on March 5, 2022 at St Stanislaus Polish Catholic Church in St. Louis, Missouri. Private interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
