William Ben Espinosa “Billy”, 84 years of age, passed away June 28, 2022 in his home in Thornton,Colorado after a short battle with cancer. He was born June 26, 1938 in Del Norte, Colorado to the late Benito Espinosa and Candelaria Romero Espinosa. After serving in the Navy, Billy worked as a handyman throughout his life. He was a jokester and always ready for a good laugh. He loved bowling, “going to the hill” to gamble, and spending time with family which brought him much happiness. Preceding Billy in passing are his parents, Benito Espinosa and Candelaria Romero-Espinosa, brothers; Gilbert and David and sisters; Esther, Virginia,Annie and Carmen. Billy is survived by his nephew and nieces Larry Garcia, Vivian (Paul) Frawley, Candice (Bob) Salazar, Gina (Molly) Garcia and other extended family members. Military honors and celebration of his life were conducted on: Thursday, August 4, 2022 Fort Logan National Cemetery 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd Denver, Colorado, United States
