Andrea Rochelle Hoerner

Andrea Rochelle Hoerner, 40, of LaSalle passed away March 5, 2024 at NCMC, surrounded by her family.  She was born November 25, 1983 in Greeley.  She grew up and spent most of her life in Greeley with a short stint in Colorado Springs. 

Andrea graduated from Greeley West High School in 2002.  At the age of 14, she began working in the food and beverage industry, starting at McDonald’s and continuing her career at El Charro, Old Chicago’s, Mad Cow, Roma’s and was selected Bartender of the Year in 2019.  She was best in class at her craft and one of the hardest working people you would meet. 

She married Jon Hoerner on August 13, 2022 at the Poudre Learning Center.  Her pride and joy was her 14 year old son, Colton.  She loved the Wizard of Oz and never missed an opportunity to watch it.  She also enjoyed her evenings in the shop with Jon watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.  She had a gift of taking silly videos of Jon.  They rode their motorcycle with friends, often contributing to fundraisers for causes that were near and dear to friends and family.

Andrea was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and best friend to countless people.  Thankful to have shared her life are her husband, Jon, her son, Colton Schwartz, her father, Brent (Lisa) Poppe and her mother, Betty Wiggins-Stephas (Don Stephas), her brother, Corey Wiggins, her sister, Dany Poppe, her grandfather, Jim (Chieko) Poppe.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Audrey Leonard, Alice Maxine Coursey and Gerald K. Hatch.

Andrea’s Life Celebration will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Adamson with a reception to follow. Memorial gifts may be made to the “Poudre Learning Center” in care of Adamson, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.  Condolences may be shared at AdamsonCares.com.
