Carol M. DiOrio, aged 70, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on February 23, 2024.
She was born in Dover, Ohio on August 14, 1953 to Anthony M. Capozella and Pearl M. Capozella (Martin), both deceased.
Carol earned a bachelor’s degree in Art Education from Kent State University and was a teacher and social worker. She was also a U.S. Army veteran.
Carol enjoyed the company of her pets and took interest in hot-air ballooning.
She is survived by her husband, Dan J. DiOrio; brothers William Capozella of Cheyenne, Wyoming and James Capozella of Petersburg, Indiana.
Remembrances in Carol’s name may be made to the ASPCA or local animal shelters.
