Sandra Sue Montgomery

Sandra Sue Braukmiller Montogomery passed away May 18, 2018. She was born August 31, 1942 in Sioux City, Iowa to Lawrence Edgar Brauckmiller and Mabel Lorene Wilson. She moved to Oregon with her family in 1942 and was raised here. Sandra's family moved in mass to Portland, Oregon in 1942 to work in the shipyards on Swan Island. John R. Braukmiller and 15 other family members found jobs there after the move from the Midwest. She later graduated from Franklin High School in Portland, Oregon, graduating in 1960. On September 24th, 1960, she married William Roger Montgomery and they moved to Canby, Oregon. She was a homemaker and worked at several companies in her life, including Sproutz Ritz, Mod Com and Puget Plastic. Sandra belonged to North Marion Fellowship. She loved tole painting, cooking, cake decorating, crafts and most of all she loved the beach. She is survived by her daughters Trinka Montgomery Morford, Canby, Oregon and Tina Montgomery Bain Waldport, Oregon and son Jon Montgomery Aurora, Oregon, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband William Roger Montgomery. A Memorial Service will be held June 2, 2018 at 10:00 p.m., at Bethany Church, 450 S. Ivy, Canby , Oregon.
