Jones, Penny Ann, 59 12/12/1950 5/1/2010 Penny Jones passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010, in her home. She had been fighting adrenal cancer since the summer of 2007. Penny is survived by her children, Taj Jones, 27, and Kira Jones, 24; her mother, Viola Stern; and siblings, Shirley Johnson, Ray Stern, Edward Stern and Teri Obsorne. Penny was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Timothy Jones; and father, Raymond Stern. Penny enjoyed reading, listening to jazz and spending time with her family. She was a kind, caring and compassionate person; a wonderful daughter and sister and a beloved mother and friend. Penny was always smiling with something funny to say. A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2010, in New Thought Center for Spiritual Living, 1040 C Ave., Lake Oswego, OR 97034.
