Edgar Kent Terrill

Edgar Kent Terrill, age 92 of Beaverton, Ore., passed away peacefully May 4 of age-related causes. Interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Ore., followed by a memorial service at Hearthstone of Beaverton at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13. Kent was born in Oregon City, Ore., on Oct. 18, 1921, the youngest of two children, to Dr. Neil and Creta Terrill. He graduated from Tillamook High School in 1940 and attended Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II and married Myrtis Kinney on April 25, 1946. They were happily married for more than 61 years. Kent is survived by his son. Brad Terrill (Ellen), of Burke, Va., daughter, Joy Bruns (Steve), of Beaverton, Ore., and their families including seven grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Hearthstone of Beaverton’s Staff Appreciation Fund.
