Joyce Cummings

Obituary Joyce Cummings went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 14, 2018. In 1970, she moved from Southern California to Colorado Springs with her family. During her 85 years, Joyce was a remarkable mother, homemaker, volunteer, pianist and seamstress, making and gifting nearly 1000 dresses for young girls in need around the world. She lived with type-I diabetes for 66 years and avoided its complications. Joyce will be remembered for her love of family, her unwavering love of Christ, her amazing strength during difficult times, her compassionate heart, her willingness to help others, and her love of animals. She enjoyed the simple things in life and was a dear friend to many. She will be greatly missed! She is survived by her four children, all living in Colorado: Randy Cummings, Greg (Alison) Cummings, Darla McFee, and Julie (Randy) Haynes. Her eleven Grandchildren, living in Colorado: Heather, Breanne, Joshua, Michael, Danielle, Christine, Ryan, Jordan, Morgan, Rylee, and Reagan. Also, her nine great grandchildren.
