Michael Robert Burns

Obituary Michael Robert Burns was a lifetime veteran of Colorado. He went home to be with his Lord on February 5, 2017 with his family by his side. He served in the United States Marine Corp and proudly fought for his country in the Vietnam War. He was a doting husband, father of 2 and grandfather of 4. Mike believed that you should always help those who could not help themselves. He portrayed that on a daily basis with everyone he encountered. He was passionate about sports and was all-star football, basketball and baseball player growing up and helped shape others by coaching them. More then anything he loved and lived for his family-always giving everything of himself and loving them with all his heart. He will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
