Bob was born in San Diego, California, on November 20, 1950.His family moved to a farm outside Canby, Oregon, in 1963. He attended John F. Kennedy High School in Mt. Angel, then transferred to Canby Union High School where he graduated in 1968. He went on to attend OCE (Oregon College of Education) and graduated with his teaching degree in 1972.He started his teaching career in Oak Ridge, Oregon, then in Mt. Angel where he taught at his old high school, John F. Kennedy.He started teaching in Corbett, Oregon, in 1992 where he met his future wife Jan.Bob and Jan were married on July 10, 1999, and both retired in 2010. He was predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Patricia, as well as his brother Brian.He is survived by his wife Jan of Corbett; sons Robert of Virginia and Clint of Oregon City; stepdaughters Jill of Texas and Erin of Gresham; brothers Nick of Longview and Rick of Aurora; along with his grandchildren Hannah, Luke, Courtney, and Marjorie; as well as multiple nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday May 3, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick Church in Canby, OR.
