Obituary JOAN ROBERTA POTTS ROBERTS December 6, 1934 February 21, 2022 Joan Roberta Potts Roberts passed away on February 21, 2022, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on December 6, 1934, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to the late Joseph H. Potts and Roberta Clark Potts. She graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1952 and attended Blair Business College, graduating in 1954. She worked for the U.S. Army at Ft. Carson, then HQ Army Air Defense Command (ARADCOM) at Ent AFB, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at Peterson AFB, serving for over 40 years as a secretary. In 1962, Joan married Don Lee Roberts, who preceded her in death, and also a brother, Wayne Potts. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Doreen & Todd Brock, granddaughters & husbands, Nicole & Bruce Perkins, and Savanah & Codi Johnson; great-grandsons Braiden & Brody Perkins and Adam & Colt Johnson; plus four siblings: Marlene Clayton, Carol Todd, George Potts & Joe Potts, along with many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday, February 26, 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 701 N. 20th St., Colorado Springs, followed by a reception at 3665 Saint Charles St. (off 36th St), Colorado Springs.
