Carol Elizabeth Wright
January 21st, 1943 - June 12th, 2022
Obituary Our dearest Carol Elizabeth 'Betty' Wright passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 12th, 2022 at the age of 79. Betty was born January 21st 1943. She was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta Hendryx, her biological father William Bell, her step-father Louie Hendryx and her husband Lowell D. Wright as well as several fur babies, most recently Sabin, Tucker, Samantha, Pepe, and Riley. Betty loved her dogs and devoted much of her life to rescuing, raising, and training them. She also loved bowling until she wasn't able to anymore and she was active in several animal conservation, education and preservation groups including the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center. Betty left behind a sister, Helen Sherer and family, a daughter and son-in-law, Judi and Carl Rinkenberger, and two granddaughters and grandson-in-laws, Melissa and Daniel Williams and Jennifer Rinkenberger and Ashton Lane and one great-granddaughter Mae Williams. Betty also left behind one fur baby, Willow, who has been taken in by a family friend. Betty will be missed greatly by many but we are comforted knowing she is happy in heaven playing and dancing with all the friends, family, and animals she loved. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her name to the Colorado Wolf Co-Existence fund through the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center. Services You can still show your support by sending flowers directly to the family, or by planting a memorial tree in the memory of Carol Elizabeth Wright
