Elsa 'Lulu' Marilu Gonzales

Elsa 'Lulu' Marilu Gonzales (Heredia), 47, of Colorado Springs (formerly of Monte Vista) passed away on July 13, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. She was surrounded by her loved ones. Elsa was born on May 5, 1971 in Delicias, Chih., Mexico. She came to the United States as an infant. She was an amazing woman and would do anything for those she loved. She had a beautiful smile and contagious laughter. Elsa is survived by three children, Dominick (Erin) of Montrose, Matthew (Leesa) of Montrose, and Marisah (Jacob) of Montrose. She was blessed with ten grandchildren, Mason, Oliviah, Cameron, Aadin, Khloe, Uriah, Kobe, Manny, Elijah, and Cruz, all of Montrose. Elsa is also survived by her mother, Soledad Heredia of Colorado Springs; and five siblings, Edna (Sean) of Colorado Springs, Lilly (Darrell) of Monte Vista, Mundo (Andrea) of Colorado Springs, Elva (Skyler) of Grand Junction, and Elias 'Eli' (Angelica) of Alimosa. She has many nieces and nephews, and several other friends and family members she held very close to her heart. Elsa was preceded in death by her father, Edmundo Heredia, Sr. This beautiful soul will be missed and will forever be in our hearts.
