John Felix Chew, 68, passed February 26, 2019 in Denver, CO. He was born August 30, 1950 in Auburn, IN to Frank & Guadalupe "Lupe" (Ramirez) Chew. John served in the US Army and served in Vietnam, having earned a Purple Heart. He in Colorado Springs, CO and started his family. He spent the majority of his time in his garage with his son, Koda, working on his bikes, Harleys, whether they needed work done or not. He was a tinkering kind of guy and loved his steak and beer! He loved old Westerns movies and thrift shopping. He always enjoyed his time with family and friends. He never met a stranger and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his children, Jessica Young, Caly Elizabeth Simpson, John Dakota Chew and Lakotah Ember Chew; grandchildren, Montana, Joey and Devon; and his ex-wife, but friend, Elaine Kay Chew; siblings, Alice Badger, Robert Chew, JoAnn Sechler and Jose Chew; and many nieces and nephews.
