Obituary Chief Master Sergeant (retired) Raymond R. Lucier, 64, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 15, 2013, at his residence in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Ray was born on February 10, 1949, in Rochester, New Hampshire, to Alpha and Yvonne Lucier. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 25 years, Janice, and his second wife of 13 years, Rebecca. He is survived by his brother, Donald Lucier, of Rochester, NH, and his two daughters, Amanda Groves and her husband Keefe, of Larkspur, CO, and Emily and her husband Jacob Haffley, of Fort Riley, KS, and his beautiful granddaughter, Penelope Haffley. Ray was loved by all who met him and he leaves behind literally tons of friends! Ray spent 30 years in the Air Force retiring in September 1997. During his career, Rays educational achievements included a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland (1979) and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Golden Gate University (1981). He was employed at the US Air Force Academy as the Project Manager for the cadet tailor and alterations shop. He loved golf and "his" hole (according to Ray) was #12 on the USAFAs Silver Course; he loved to ski, especially with his Emmy-Lou! He was a lifelong Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan and didnt mind bragging about his teams to anyone and everyone! Ray took numerous trips each year visiting friends and family, and to different stadiums throughout the country to watch his teams play and win! Services Funeral Service
