Thomas Edward Holliday, Sr.

Obituary Thomas 'Tom' Edward Holliday, Sr. died February 18, 2014 in Colorado Springs where he had lived for numerous years. He was born May 8, 1922 in Pratt, KS to Thomas Jefferson & Edith Marie (Hughbanks) Holliday. Tom served 32 years of military service in both the Army and the Air Force; he also retired from School District 20 in Colorado Springs. He was a Black Forest resident for over 20 years until the fire in 2013. Tom is survived by his children, daughter, Holly Holliday, son, Tom, Jr. and his wife, Liz, son, John, and daughter, Kathleen Owensby, and Eileen B. Holliday, ex-wife and friend. He is also survived by grandchildren, Jacob (Anna) Kriley, Leah Kriley (Robert Herman), Isaac Joseph Kriley, Zechariah Woerner, Andrew Holliday and Soloman Mato Holliday; great grandchildren, Jade Kriley, Gabriel Kriley, Arianna Kriley, Kaleb Kriley, Bobby Owensby and Renee Owensby; Siblings, Robert Holliday, Bonnie Todd, Mary Ellen Westfall, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Daniel, a grandson, Joshua Holliday Kriley, a brother, Frank, a sister, Lucille; and a nephew, John Bettencourt. A Military Graveside Service will be held on Wedneday, March 5, 2014 at 2:15 at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver. Services Graveside Service Wednesday March 5, 2014 2:15 PM Ft.
