Memorial

Obituary Philip Louis Gray was born October 18, 1930 in Chicago, IL to Clifford Louis Gray and Janet Bernice Ashley Gray. Philip was the oldest child, then two sisters Marcia and Janine followed. He passed away peacefully in the presence of loving family on November 13, 2021. Philip "Skip" Gray met his beloved Helen "Buzzie" Frances Bussdicker at Wheaton College and they married in 1952. Skip and Buzzie have three children: Kenneth, Carol and David. Kenneth and his wife Deborahs five children are Lauren, Philip (Hannah), Caroline (Micah), Catherine (Matthew) and Susanna. Carol is married to Donald Hatch. Carols four children are Jonathan, Courtney (Chris), Charles (Tracy) and Lisa (Brian). David and his wife Katherines four children are Michael, Daniel, Jamison and Bryan. Great-grandchildren are Marissa (Logan), Blake, Destiny, Macie, Seth, Andrew, Kaley, Riona, Theoden, Linnea, Louis, Helen, Charlotte, Martin and Oliver. Skip and Buzzie ministered with the Navigators since 1953. Throughout the United States and many other countries, Skip devoted his life to serving the Lord in a variety of ministries collegiate, military, and in the past many years ministering to physicians and their families. Skip had various leadership responsibilities, but his primary focus was on investing in the lives of individuals. Skip was faithful to his God, he faithfully loved his wife, he faithfully supported his family, and he was a faithful friend. Skip entered his well-deserved rest hearing his Master saying " well done, good and faithful servant." "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8 Services You can still show your support by sending flowers directly to the family, or by planting a memorial tree in the memory of Philip Louis Gray
