Carol Jean Snoddy

Obituary Carol Jean Snoddy (Holiski) Carol passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the age of 74. Carol was born and raised in Colorado Springs, attending Palmer High School. She married the love of her life, Ron Snoddy, in 1969 and enjoyed 52 years of marriage. They have two children, Kevin and Gabrielle and 3 grandchildren, Alex, Nick, and Madison. She began her career in retail at May D&F and retired from Foleys where she worked as the Manager of Cosmetics and Fragrance. Nothing brought Carol more joy than being surrounded by family and friends. Holidays were a special time for her. There were always parties, treats, and love. She would make hundreds of treats for each holiday and share them with people she knew and even people she did not. She had a knack for knowing something special about every person she knew. Carol enjoyed her swim aerobics classes at the YMCA, volunteering at the B street pantry, and traveling with Ron. Our community has lost an amazing woman. She loved big and we are all so grateful to have been part of her amazing journey. Carol is survived by her husband Ron, her children Kevin and Gabrielle, her grandchildren Alex, Nick and Madison and her siblings Betty Ann Wommack, John Holiski, Diane English, Stan Holiski, and Linda Holiski. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, June 3rd at the Pavilions at Venezia Park (Intersection of Briargate and Union). We have chosen this space to allow for a safe gathering outdoors and room for social distancing. The service will begin at 10:30 and lunch will be served afterwards.
