Marina Vigil

Obituary Marina Vigil died December 17, 2013 in Colorado Springs, CO. She was 89 years. She was born July 18, 1924 in Jayton, TX to Jose & Carmen (Neri) Flores. She was the eldest of 10 children. Marina married Floyd Vigil and they moved to Colorado. Though they never had children of their own, they raised their niece, Reina, and considered her their own daughter as well as her children. Reina married Bobby Martinez and they had three daughters, which Marina also helped raise. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and siblings, Lola Corona, Carmen Fierros, Paula Cuadra, Helen Rodriquez and Pedro "Pete" Flores.. She is survived by Reina and her husband, Bobby Martinez; their children Ursula Vigil, Monica and her husband, Kenny Holcomb, and Davina Regalado; their children Junisha Regalado, Marina Powers, Dominic Bryan, Sabreena Brown, Angeline Marez-Vigil, AnElisa Munoz, Aubrianna Munoz, Nayiah Vigil, Kristina Holcomb, David Vigil, Alana Holcomb, Jazmyn Holcomb, Isabella Holcomb, and one great-great grandson, Jaylen Muhammad. Marina is also survived by her siblings, Juana Rueda, Lupe Munoz, Anita Medina and Joe Flores. A Rosary will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:30 am with viewing until 1:00 pm, at which time the service will start, at Cappadona Funeral Chapel, 1020 E. Fillmore St., Colorado Springs, CO. Other services will be in California where her siblings reside. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs, CO where her husband was laid to rest.
