Richard Wesley Meseke
June 3rd, 1941 - September 16th, 2019
Richard Wesley Meseke, Sr. passed away on September 16, 2019 at his home after a brief battle with cancer. He was born June 3, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland to Thelma E. (Taylor) & Lester Meseke. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 35-years, Doris. Richard and Doris moved from Baltimore, Maryland to Monument, Colorado in 2003. Richard is also survived by children and their spouses Tim and Tina Hatton, Richard, Jr. and Mary Beth Meseke, Judith Meseke, and son-in-law Jim Showalter; grandchildren, Danielle, Kirsten, and Jakob Hatton; Michael, Joshua, Jaime, Robert, Kymerly, Zachary, and Kristen Showalter; Richard Meseke III, Giovanni Meseke, and Kelly Salser, and brother Robert Meseke. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester & Thelma, daughter, Terry Showalter; granddaughter, Jaime Showalter, and sister, Nancy Gavin. Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He loved spending time with Doris, taking trips to Cripple Creek, Colorado, and being "Mr. Fix It" to all friends and family.
