Lora E Baker April 29, 1962 – November 16, 2023 I researched so many ways of how to start this, and there is never a good way. You don’t need her stats, it’s not personal enough. You don’t need to know who is surviving after her, cause we all are still here - and she is not. What you need to know is that one of the brightest stars you could ever ask to light your life has lost her battle and is now lighting our lives another way. Lora imprinted herself on everyone she encountered. From being the badass mom & always putting her daughters first, to fighting as hard as she could all the way to the end - to just give us one more moment, one more laugh, one more smile, even one more crude joke. Her passion & love to accomplish everything she could & be there for everyone she loved, is something for the history books. When you see purple hair, I want you to smile. When you see a group of singers, I want you to want to sing. When there is a badass biker lady passin’ you, I want you to think of her. When you see the biggest smile come across a companion’s face, I hope it reminds you of her. Cause hers completely lit up every room she entered, no matter how dark. Lora was unstoppable, almost swore she was unbreakable, and wore many hats throughout her life. Sister, daughter, mom, grandma, companion & friend Throughout each stage, multiple adventures. Visited & road tripped almost the entire US, from moving, visiting family, to being a part of the Run for the Wall & riding her bike clear across the US. To traveling abroad with her sisters on multiple adventures & making memories that will last forever! Even celebrating everything she could with her immediate family, down to the last sporting event of the season – even if it wasn’t her own. So - share a memory, a story of a time, a moment that this star shined in your life, Cause she will forever be imbedded in ours. Love you forever & always – To the moon & back mom!
