She is survived by her brother Edward, sister Vangie, her two other children Marcelino and Carla (Cary), four grandsons, and one great granddaughter. Mary Lou was born December 12, 1937 in Mogote, CO. A Colorado native, she grew up in Leadville where she met her future husband and promptly set him up on a date with her cousin Susan. After graduating from high school, Mary Lou moved to Denver and received her secretarial certification from business school. After moving back to Leadville, she reconnected with Carl and married him in November 1959. Mary Lou and Carl moved to Ft. Collins where she worked while Carl finished college.
