John L. Trujillo

Obituary John L. Trujillo, 67, died in Colorado Springs on March 25, 2021 after complications due to an aortic aneurism. He was born in Wyoming March 23, 1954 to Gilbert Lloyd & Mary Helen (Chavez) Hensley. John was raised in Colorado Springs and attended Coronado HS. He went on to be a Machinist with several different companies in the Springs, but landed a 15 year + career at Kineo Manufacturing, and was till working up to his passing. He married his love, Carol "Jan" Janette, in 1984. Though they both worked they found time to travel and take vacations together, including visiting Ireland and most recently, the Grand Canyon in October 2020. John enjoyed camping and fishing in his beloved mountains and going to Cripple Creek to play his favorite "Texas Holdem". We wont forget to mention that he was a great Broncos fan. He is survived by wife, Jan; sisters, Phyllis Gillett and Connie Hensley and brothers, Clifford "Cliff" & Vicki Trujillo and Kevin & Donna Trujillo; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert & Mary Helen, and a brother, Karl.
