Daniel Hoadley

Obituary Major Daniel J. Hoadley, Retired 30 August 1963 18 August 2017 Daniel Hoadley was born August 30, 1963 in Fort Ord, California. Dan was educated at the Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado, graduating with honors with a Bachelors Degree in 1986, majoring in Biology with a minor in Engineering. He received his Masters Degree in 1998 from Chapman University, Orange, California. He served in the Air Force as an officer for 12 years in various positions including Electronics Systems Chief, Commercial Chief, Operations Exercise Chief, Training and Evaluations Chief, Deputy Commander, Systems Flight Commander, and Program Manager. Dan was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain and continued to server his country in the Air Force Reserve, retiring as a Major. He also served as Department of the Army Civilian in the Security and Contracting career fields. His last duty assignment was in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia serving as a Contract Specialist for the Training and Support Services Branch, OPM-SANG Contracting Division. Dan was a faithful servant of God. He was an active participant in the Eskan Village Catholic congregation and a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Colorado Springs, Colorado. His hobbies were praying for and with others, spending time with family, laughing, and always wearing a smile on his face. He was a caring, kind, and thoughtful person; devoted husband; loving father; and friend, always thinking of others first. Dan is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Lilia; their daughter, Kimberly; and family and friends.
