Alice Dodge

Obituary Alice Dodge, 78, formerly of Colorado Springs, CO died peacefully on January 25, 2017 at Penrose Saint Francis Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 10, 1938 to Leroy Lemke and Hattie Lemke (Timm) in Merrill, Wisconsin, she was the fourth of five children. She attended Leyden Community High School in Franklin Park, Illinois and graduated in 1956. On May 4, 1968, she married Ronald B. Dodge II in Santa Clara, CA and enjoyed 48 wonderful years together as husband and wife. Together they had two sons, Karl Dodge (Raleigh, NC) and Jack Dodge (Parker, CO). Alice was a loving homemaker and wife who spent her early family years as an Air Force officer wife while raising their sons in various locations in California and Colorado. She loved spending time working on various arts and crafts. In 1986, the family moved to Colorado Springs where they remained throughout her life. Survivors include her husband (Ronald B Dodge II), sons (Karl Dodge, Jack Dodge) and six grandchildren (Kaitlin Dodge, Allison Dodge, John Stuart Dodge, Jordan Dodge, Joshua Dodge and Josiah Dodge), her brother (William Lemke) and two sisters (Phyllis Fitzpatrick, Faye Hoeffer). She is preceded in death by her parents (Leroy Lemke & Hattie Timm) and her oldest sister (Janet Weddle).
