Obituary Stephen L. Turner was born May 23, 1960 in Saulte Ste. Marie, Michigan. He passed away March 15, 2015 in Colorado Springs, CO. He leaves behind 2 daughters, Casey Lee Nester and Allie Rae Badtke, 2 sons-in-law, Nick Nester and Rob Badtke, 2 precious granddaughters, Evie Kate Nester and Lucy Jane Badtke, as well as 2 more grandchildren on the way. He also leaves his 2 brothers, Jeff and Kenny Turner, 1 sister, Patti Denison and her husband Ray, his mother Nancy Turner as well as 5 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Turner. Steve graduated from Stewart County High School in 1978 and later studied graphic design at APSU. He worked at Fort Campbell drawing mock-ups for helicopter pilots until 2011 when he decided to take time away and do what he loved. He moved to Key West, FL and spent his time doing his 2 favorite things, fishing and painting. He then moved to Cripple Creek, CO to be with his brothers. Steve was a loyal, considerate and faithful man who would do anything for his friends and family. He had a tight knit group of friends whom he loved dearly. Steve spent most of his life caring and providing for his two daughters. They were the most important things in his life and it was apparent how proud he was of them. He will be dearly missed by many. Memorial service held at Spring Creek Baptist Church, 2760 Trenton Road, Clarksville. Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 12:00 pm.
