Obituary Pamela Rae Sramek Alcorn, 71, of Colorado Springs CO joined the angels on December 5, 2020 at home with the love of her life, Joe, and her three children: Nicole, Jeremy and Joshua. She was born on July 18, 1949 to Mary Ann Heble Sramek and William Sramek in St. Francis KS. She was the oldest of 8 siblings (Kevin, Jennifer, Sandy, DeNell, Kurt, Geretta, and Kent). Pam graduated high school in 1967. She then traveled to attend school in Denver to be a medical assistant. She worked for a time at a medical clinic in Burlington CO. She married Joseph Alcorn June 20, 1970. She stayed busy being a mom for many years of 3 active children. Her passion was reading, music and treasure hunting. She was very devout in her Catholic faith and was always teaching catechism to others whether this was the high school youth group in Cheyenne Wells, at home to her kids and grandkids or to others that wanted to discuss religion. Even at one point during her teenage years, she was considering becoming a nun. Her love of the Lord can never be doubted. When they moved to Colorado Springs in fall of 1995, she started working as a school cook at West Middle school. Through the years, she did many jobs from cook to manager. Her heart was always with the kids so they wouldnt go hungry and without lunch regardless of the ability to pay. She was creative and always found ways to help even if it broke a few rules now and again. Besides her husband and children, the next love of her life were the grandchildren. She was blessed to see 13 grandchildren born and grow: Wyatt (23), William (22), Kaitlynn (21), Michayla (19), Nicholas (18), Kyle (16), Anthony (16), Patrick (14), Quinten (11), Charlotte (9), Kathryn (8), Jude (6) and Jacob (3). This year in February she welcomed a great grandson, Carter Michael. Pam is precedent in death by her parents, William and MaryAnn Sramek and brother Kevin Sramek.
