Evelyn Neubauer June 14, 1929 - November 7, 2023 Evelyn Neubauer passed November 7, 2023, at age 94. Evelyn, or Evie to many close to her, was born in Laramie Wyoming to Charles and Opal Einspahr and moved to Portland Oregon in 1942. She lived in Newport Oregon from 1969 to 1986 and Campbell California from 1986 until coming back to Portland in 2003. Evelyn graduated from Roosevelt H.S. During her high school years she was a member of her school council, a teen fashion model and she enjoyed art and dance. After high school she took additional coursework at the University of Oregon and the Portland Art Museum. She was also a top salesperson at Rhodes department store. Evelyn was a homemaker, writer, artist and poet. She was a member of Chaparral poets and took first place in many photography competitions. She wrote and illustrated a children's book as well as many poems. Evelyn loved her family and being a mother very much. She is survived by her two children Linda and Doug Neubauer and two brothers William (Bill) Einspahr and sister-in-law Edie and Richard (Dick) Einspahr and sister-in-law Louise.
