Kathryn Marie Hagedorn

Kathryn Marie Wayt Hagedorn “Kathi” 1948-2023 Kathi passed away at the age of 75 in Hospice care in Molalla, Oregon. She is survived by her husband Norm and his children Garin Hagedorn, Marcie Brasesco, and Dawn Odle, 7 grandchildren, and sisters Ora-Jean DeMars, Shelley Bates and Marylin Stillman. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Kathi was born January 10, 1948 to Eugene and Ora Wayt in Portland, Oregon. She graduated in 1966 from Grant High School in Portland and went on to get an associates degree in the arts. Kathi was very artistic and loved sewing, painting and photography as hobbies. She loved many animals throughout her life including her dogs Sadie Lou and Chelsea also her horses Don and Son Amin. Kathi was very hard working and had a variety of jobs throughout her career including, office data entry, production manager and bartending. Kathi met and married Norman Hagedorn on August 2, 1983. Kathi and Norm lived in Oregon City for many years before finally retiring in Molalla. They shared many interests including camping with family in eastern Oregon and clamming-crabbing on the Oregon coast. Kathi lived a happy full life. We all loved her and will miss her. Funeral services for Kathi will be January 3, 2024 at 11 am at Canby funeral Chapel, 160 S Grant St, Canby, Oregon. Kathi will be laid to rest at MT. View Cemetery, Oregon City, Oregon.
