Patrick Henry Romero

Patrick "Pat" Henry Romero went to be with the Lord on March 24, 2018, at his home in Denver, surrounded by his family. He was born in Denver to Raymond and Audrey (Sopris) Romero. He is preceded in death by his brother Joey Romero; grandmother Elsie Sopris; uncle Bill Sopris; aunt Toni Saavedra; and granddaughter Layla Gonzales. He is survived by his wife Alicia Gonzales; children Damien Romero, Natalie Gonzales, Milo Gonzales, Zachary Romero, and Aaliyah Romero; parents Raymond and Audrey Romero; siblings Elizabeth Blackburn, Linda Romero, Cynthia Gonzales, and Adrian Romero; grandchildren Jayla Romero, Janae Romero, Jordyn Romero, Nevaeh Gonzales, Nerissa Gonzales, Isla Gonzales, Anastasia Duran, Dasia Garcia, Leinani Ruiz, Liyla Gonzales, Zayne Gonzales; son in law Juan Sanchez and daughter in law Shiree Gonzales. Pat enjoyed fixing cars or anything broken, bike rides, softball, sports, and going fishing. He used to say, "We could go fishing without a pole and still catch fish." His family described him as very loving, loyal, knowledgeable, and wise. He was a jokester and comedian until the end. He had passion in everything he did and loved his kids and grandbabies with his whole heart. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
