Romero Funeral Home and Cremations - Denver
Stephanie Carmen Rodriguez
January 15th, 1979 - September 24th, 2021
Stephanie Rodriguez, 42 passed away on the early morning of September 24, 2021 at Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge. Stephanie was born and raised in Denver, Colorado she was a HUGE Denver Bronco fan! Anyone who knew her knew she was always representing for her team and would watch the games with her family and friends. Stephanie was a long time employee of Crossmark. (Sam's Club Vendor) This was the perfect job for her because of her love for food. Stephanie was always spending her free time in Central City/Blackhawk. She enjoyed gambling and eating at the buffets. Stephanie delighted in special occasions with her family. She'd go out of her way on a regular basis to get the family together even if it was just for a small dinner. Family was her everything, her pride and joy and her reason for carrying on. Stephanie was the daughter of Fred and Kathy Vasquez. Dearest mother of Anthony Trujillo and beloved sister of Fred Vasquez Jr (Priscilla Wilson). Stephanie was a loving wife of 11 years to Shawn Duran. Stephanie will dearly be missed by her niece Vanessa Lozoya (Andrew Medina) and her nephews Fred III, Gabriel and Devin Vasquez. She'll also be missed by her great nephews Andre and Adrian (aka Peanut) Medina. Stephanie had such a unique personality, she was always so happy, so loving, supportive and welcoming to all. Stephanie will never be forgotten and will truly be missed by all who knew her. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the doctors and nurses at Lutheran Medical Center who cared for Stephanie the week she was admitted. Everyone cared for her as if she were their own loved one and for that we are very appreciative. Viewing will be Thursday, October 7th 5-8pm at Romero Family Funeral Home in Denver. Funeral services will be Friday, October 8th 10am at New Life in Christ Church in Lakewood.
