Thomas Allen Abbott died of cancer December 9, 2013. He was 50. He was born July 11, 1963, in St. Helens to Richard and Irma Abbott. He graduated from Molalla High School in 1981. He owned Tom’s rebuild shop and also worked as a mechanic for River Dog Express Trucking. He loved to fish. Mr. Abbott is survived by his fiancé, Shannon Farley; mother, Irma Abbott; brothers, Richard Jr., Ron, and Gary; sister, Tammy Hewitt. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Sr.; brother, Tim; sister, Kathy Garvin. A memorial service will be held at 1:30, January 4, 2014, at Molalla Church of Nazarene. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Molalla Funeral Chapel.
