Hazel Ann Cruz

Hazel (Haze) Ann Cruz, 64, went home to be with the Lord on April 26th, 2014, with her family by her side. Hazel was born on April 9th, 1950, in Raton New Mexico. She was mother to 6 children, grandmother to 18 grandchildren and also 3 great grandchildren at the time of her passing. Her interests included spending time with family, shopping, painting and serving the Lord. She had a very caring and nurturing heart and loved everyone she met. Her light shined bright for all to see, and anyone blessed enough to know her were better because of it. Ms. Cruz is survived by 3 sons and 3 daughters, Arthur and his spouse Marie, Tammy, Terri and her spouse Roger, Brandi and her spouse John, Mark and his spouse Maria, and Noah and his spouse Selina. 18 grandchildren, Anthony Joseph, Brittany, Mercedes, Vanity, Santino, Destiny, Alexis, Moses, Elijah, Ivory, Genesis, Carissa, Marquis, Isaiah, Robert, Faith, Christianna and Joshua. She was also survived by 3 Great Grandchildren, Lariyah, Antonio and Trinity. Also her brothers Mark and Ted. Her sister Maria Elena, and nephew Joe Romero, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. "Haze" was greeted in Heaven by many loved ones, including her Grandma Lizzy, mother Rose, Brother Joe Manuel Romero, granddaughter Neriah and great granddaughter Nevaeh as well as other loved ones that went on before her. Memorial Service 12:30 PM. Friday 05-02-2014 at Romero Funeral Chapel, 4750 Tejon St. Denver.
