Ross Richmond Dale

Ross Richmond Dale was born on March 22, 1984 in Eugene, Oregon. Ross was a life-long Oregonian, growing up in Springfield, where he graduated from Thurston High School and attended Lane Community College in the electrical apprenticeship program. His childhood home was surrounded by lots of rural land and next to his grandparent's farm, which created his life-long love of animals, especially dogs, and working with horses. His sweet nature gave him a natural connection to both animals and people. Ross loved people, animals, and driving anything at a fast speed. We have received an outpouring of condolences from so many expressing how Ross touched their lives in simple ways. He was able to overcome many issues in his early adult life, with the past few years being happy ones. We will not forget his tenacity and strength, and will smile when we think of his successes and how his gentle spirit and kindness brought cheer to so many. He is survived by his mother Rena Hamer-Burke; father Richmond (Rick) Dale; step-father Phillip Burke; brother Ryan Dale; grandfather Richmond Dale; aunt Kimberley Dale; his beloved Terrier, Sophie. A memorial service will be held at 6pm, August 28, at Camp Creek Church, 37529 Upper Camp Creek Rd, Springfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Camp Creek Church Youth Fund
