Parker Dale Post
October 13th, 2000 - February 2nd, 2021
Parker Dale Post was born October 13, 2000, in Eugene. He passed away on February 2, 2021, in Junction City, the result of injuries sustained in a vehicle related incident. Parker is survived by his father, Thomas Post and his partner, Amanda; mother, Shelley Cate and her partner, Jon Kienel; his little sisters, Cordelia Post and Esme Kienel; Parker’s partner, Lacee Jamison; Grandparents, Bill and Gale Crowder; Aunt and Uncle Tharon and Eric Eide and cousins as close as sisters, Grace and Madeline Wilson. This is the part where we talk about our loved one’s marriage, children, career pursuits and a lifetime of interests and adventures but none of those milestones can occur when someone is lost so young. Parker did have his hopes and dreams that included a family of his own and the desire to own an automobile repair shop. Not only that , he wanted to be able to provide special rates for single parents that were in need of affordable repairs. For some reason that was very important to Parker. Parker had an enormous passion for anything with four wheels and this passion started at a very, very young age. His last love with a combustion engine beat in the heart of his 1980 Corvette (Vicky) who also succumbed to injuries on February 2, 2021. Lastly, friends or as Parker always referred to them as “my buddies”, Allan, Daniel, Ryan and Ethan, just to name a few. Parker truly valued his friendships. I believe you all probably knew him better than the Family did. We want to thank you for being there for Parker through the good times and the bad and we hope he was there for you as well. If love could have saved Parker, he would have lived forever. Forever, he will be missed and loved. A Celebration of Life Potluck will be held at Richardson Park at Fern Ridge Lake on July 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Bring your favorite dish and your favorite memories of Parker to share with all.
