BETTYE LUCILLE ROSEBERRY 1931-2022 Bettye Roseberry, 91, of Springfield, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 22, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Glenwood, Arkansas on April 9, 1931 to her loving parents, Belton and Elizabeth Barrong. She married Meldon Roseberry on June 19th, 1947. They relocated to Oregon in 1951, Making their home in Springfield since 1961. Bettye was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved attending church and reading her Bible, and was a prayer warrior. She loved to cook for her family and church potlucks. She loved gardening, with roses being her favorite. Family gatherings were always something she loved. She also loved to sing and play the piano. Bettye worked for several years at Modern Studio in Springfield, where she was a photo technician. Bettye was a member of Parkway Landmark Baptist Church in Springfield. She taught Sunday School for many years. She often played the piano for worship time as well. Bettye is survived by her three sons: Ron of Klamath Falls; Mike (wife Sheena) of Springfield; Dan (wife Victoria) of Eugene. A sister; Wilma (husband Paul) of Arkadelphia, AR. Eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Meldon, two sisters: Shirley and Murriel, one brother: Charles. Daughter in-law Chris Roseberry, one grandson; Phillip, one great grandson, Oliver. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4th at Springfield Memorial Gardens.
