John Cockrell 1917 - 2016 Born to Harry and Georgia Cockrell, John married Carolyn Collier in Richmond, MO in 1941 and had four children, Gail, Ann, Kay, and Robert. He completed his doctorate at Washington University Medical School in 1943, and went on to deliver nearly five thousand newborns as an OBGYN. John served his country during World War II as a captain in the 82nd airborne stationed in Europe. Arrangements entrusted to England’s Eugene Memorial Chapel.
