On Saturday, January 23rd, 2021, Robert Wayne Short, loving husband and step father passed away at the age of 56. Robert was born on December 4th, 1964 in Caldwell Idaho to Fred Short and Barbara Buckley Short. He attended Broadview University for two years majoring in law. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting and target practice. He usually took grandkids or great grandkids with him fishing. Robert was always giving his opinion to everyone on a variety of subjects. Robert was currently employed at Doug Andrus Trucking as a driver. He was well liked by everyone. Robert was preceded in death by his father Fred, his brother Tim, his nephew Albert and his step granddaughter Cassie. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, step daughters Mona, Dena and step son Tom, eight step grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren, his mother Barbara, his sisters Chris, Anita and Marie, his brother Lance, two aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and one nephew. He will be missed so much. A viewing is being held on January 27th 2021 from 2-4 pm at Summers Funeral Home on Ustick Rd in Boise. Services and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
