Fern Evelyn Kennedy-Majors, 88, died January 16th, 2012 of natural causes at Molalla Manor Care Center. She was born March 7, 1923 in Weldon, Iowa to Howard Stanley and Bessie Ryan. She married her late husband Roy Kennedy in 1940. In 1967, she married Ben Majors, who also preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother, Homer Stanley of Iowa; children, Duane Kennedy of Mulino, Elaine DeTie of Molalla, Terry Kennedy of Mulino, Gary Kennedy of Molalla, and Karen Langford of Tucson, Arizona; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grand children. Her son Kenney preceded her in death. Arrangements entrusted to Molalla Funeral Chapel. Family is encouraged to provide an obituary or information that allows for an obituary to be written by our staff
