Gino Guillermo Vuolo
April 27th, 1962 - January 18th, 2022
Gino Guillermo Vuolo, 59, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on the morning of January 18th after a 4 year long battle with cancer. A 27-year resident of Boise, Gino had a passion for people and food, which would eventually lead to the opening of his restaurant in 1996, Gino's Italian Ristorante, a Treasure Valley staple. A big personality with an even bigger heart, Gino had a way of making you feel like family, because in his eyes, you were. He firmly believed in giving back to the community that helped give him so much; his philanthropy has had and will continue to have a lasting impact on the Treasure Valley. Gino is preceded in death by his mother and father, Maria and Vincent Vuolo. Gino is survived by his soulmate and wife of 32 years, Tia, their daughter Jessica Vuolo and son Vincent Vuolo; his grandchildren Ava, Elly, and Weston; his brother Tony and his wife Johnanne Vuolo and their children Gabriella and Gigi; his Brother and Sister-in-law, Bret and Renee Maughan and their son Garrett, as well as his Mother-in-law and her Mother, Peggy Maughan and Lillie Sleight; and the many other lives he was able to touch in the time he was here. A celebration of life will be held in the spring, details soon to be posted, all who loved Gino are welcome to attend.
