Edward Ed Rochnowski
July 9th, 1945 - October 20th, 2015
My Life Story Edward W. Rochnowski, Jr., age 70, died suddenly and quite unexpectedly in Meridian, ID, on October 20, 2015. Ed was born in Peru, IL, on July 9, 1945 to Ed, “Rocky”, Sr. and Paula Jean Rochnowski. Ed graduated from LaSalle-Peru High School in LaSalle, IL and had Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Illinois State University. He taught Industrial Arts at Capitol High School in Boise before starting his own welding and sporting goods businesses. Ed has lived in Eagle and Star, Idaho, for many years and was “living the good life” when he died. He loved all his families - his blood and chosen, his hunting, his long range shooting, and his Midwestern and Stagecoach families. He was a natural teacher, a big teaser, and a true belly laugher. Ed is survived by his sister, Carol Jean Rochnowski, of Lake Stevens, WA, with whom he was very close and his beloved daughter, Nicole Hedges, her husband, Heath, and her entire family in Bruneau, ID. He was especially in love with his grandsons, Hesston and Hollis. Hesston’s favorite memory of Papa Ed is snuggling with him in the big chair in the mornings. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. Remembrances may be left online at www.AccentFuneral.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home, Meridian. Memorials may be made in Ed’s name can be made to the Wild Sheep Foundation, 720 Allen Ave., Cody, WY 82414-3402. A Celebration of Life will be held sometime next year. An Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, please check back for details"

We Entrusted Edward Ed Rochnowski's Care To
Accent Funeral Home
A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
