Joseph Caesar
November 7th, 1943 - January 11th, 2016
Joseph Sheridan Caesar, age 72, of Boise passed away on Jan. 11, 2016. Joe was born on Nov. 7th, 1943 in Boise, ID to George Owen Caesar and Mary Alice (Atkinson) Caesar. Joe graduated from Boise High School in 1961 and the U of I in 1966. Joe worked for the BLM and the Forest Service on a seasonal basis from 1959 to 1969. He was a Helitack and District Foreman with the Forest Service in Alaska for 5 years. He also worked in Jordan Valley, Ashland, and Portland, OR in property management positions. He then returned to Alaska for three years to work in the retail sheepskin products business. In 1986 Joe returned to Boise and started an “Attorney’s Assistance” service with Steve Skinner. Joe enjoyed many good friendships and travels through the years. He was always ready with a story, a good laugh, a book or movie review, and enjoyed the comic side of life. He entertained his nieces and nephews with the many original comics he drew for them. Joe is survived by his father, George Caesar of Boise; sisters, Ginny (Caesar) Potter of McMinnville, OR; and Stella Caesar Calza of Moscow, ID. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alice (Atkinson) Caesar, his younger brother, Thomas Caesar and his sister, Sylvia (Caesar) Boyle. The family owes much gratitude to Steve Skinner for his help and continuing friendship with Joe. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date in Boise. The family requests memorials in Joe’s name made to: Terry Reilly Health Services, 211 16th Ave. N., P.O. Box 9, Nampa, ID 83653. Arrangements are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home, Meridian. “Catch-ya-later, Joe!”

Accent Funeral Home
A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
