My Life Story Kimberly Ann Anderson, 53, passed away May 22nd, 2016 at her home in Boise. Kimberly was born on January 19th, 1963 in Escalon, California. She was born the youngest of four children and the only girl. Kimberly was a successful mother, wife, and business owner. She owned and operated a lawn maintenance business (Lawns by Seasons), which she accredited her knowledge to her close friend and neighbor, Ken. Kimberly met the love of her life, Dallas, while he repaired her power equipment at his company. Dallas was a quiet guy, with a strange looking mullet, and an even stranger sense of humor. He was the best kept secret in the state; for both her and her son. For well over eight years, Kimberly’s very active and highly independent lifestyle helped her have a successful business until her first brain surgery in 2002. Kimberly’s most recent favorite store was Hobby Lobby, and her it showed in the decorations of her house. Her house had an eclectic array of pieces of art, wall-to-wall knick knacks, an expansive collection of PEZ dispensers and bouncy balls. She had a very unique and creative perspective on life, and expressed it through her designs and multitude of art. On a good day, you could catch Kimberly enjoying something of which she could express herself, whether it was re-arranging the items in her house, utilizing her rubber stamp collection, or even placing old photographs into new frames. One of her role models growing up, Gerry Leonard, had introduced her to all sorts of art. Kimberly’s mom passed away when she was 17, and Gerry filled that role, in a sense. The kindness, selflessness, and compassion was passed onto her from Gerry. Anyone that encountered Kimberly would eventually find out she wanted to help in anyway she could. She didn’t ask for anything in return but a simple thank you. Kimberly was courageous, strong-willed, caring, and always wanted the best for her son. She is, and will always be, extremely missed and loved. Kimberly is survived by her son, Jason McAdam, her dog, Jack, brothers: Thomas and Michael Proctor and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Anderson, brother, Calvin Proctor Jr., father, Calvin Proctor Sr., and mother, DeLora Ruth Proctor. A Celebration of Kimberly's life will be held Sunday, June 5th at 12pm at Zion Bank building’s 17th floor, located on the corner of Main and 8th street, 800 West Main Street, Boise, ID 83702. Food and refreshments to follow service. Kimberly requested that in lieu of flowers, donations are made to http://neurosurgery.ucsf.edu - for brain tumor research, or Encompass Hospice http://www.ehhi.com/hospice. Remembrances may be left for the family at www.AccentFuneral.com. Services are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home, Meridian.

We Entrusted Kimberly Anderson's Care To

Accent Funeral Home

A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
