Jayme Nielson Ballard
August 21st, 1991 - December 3rd, 2016
My Life Story Jayme Dawn Nielson Ballard was born August 21, 1991 in Boise, Idaho. She was full of light, laughter, and love her entire life that tragically ended far too early on Saturday, December 3, 2016. Her absence creates a gigantic void that will never be filled. The overwhelming outpouring of sympathy, love, and prayer from both those who knew her and those that didn’t exemplifies her impact on this earth. Jayme attended High School at Centennial High and Central Academy. Jayme loved life. Especially all of the simple moments that most of us too often overlook; the sound of the forest in the mountains when no one is around, the brief, crisp kiss of a snowflake as it lands on your cheek, the twinkle in her son, Braxton’s, eye when he would tease her. Jayme made an enduring, soul-deep impact on those who were blessed to spend time with her. Her ability to find enchantment in the everyday combined with the way she made those around her feel warm and loved will never be forgotten. Jayme is survived by her large family; four year old son, Braxton David Kendall Nielson who is the love of her life; husband, Kevin Ballard; mother and step-father, Lisa and John Wilson; father and step-mother, David and Christina Nielson; siblings: Corbin Nielson, Courtney Nielson, Tristan Johnson and Mackinzy Wilson; grandparents: Joseph Nielson, Dennis Ferguson, Doug and Barb Kiddoo, Joy and Hugo Zimmermann and Jeanne Marlow; and literally scores of aunts, uncles, cousins, great-relatives, extended family, bonus family, and kin. She is preceded in death by her grandmothers: Susan Ferguson and Judy Nielson. A service celebrating Jayme’s life will be held at Eagle Church of the Nazarene, 1001 W. State St., Eagle Idaho, on Saturday, December 10th at 11:00. All friends and family are welcome. In lieu of flowers, please contact the family to make donations to an educational fund that will be established for Braxton. The family asks everyone attending to write down your favorite memory of Jayme and bring to the service to be placed in a sharing box that will be given to Braxton so he can know his mother as he grows. The family also suggests that attendees dress comfortably and colorfully to show both respect and celebration of Jayme's life and spirit. Accent Funeral Home
A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
