Elva Colley Elva “Pud” Parthenia Colley Colley Elva Parthenia (Pud) passed away on February 25, 2016 after 26 month of battling cancer. Elva was born in Airlie, Oregon on October 23, 1929 to Chester and Irene Swearingen. Elva married Ted Colley September 2, 1949 in Eugene, Oregon. Elva was an avid sports fan, playing softball and volleyball in school. She enjoyed watching her kids and grandkids play sports, never missing a sporting event. She also enjoyed visiting family and friends, picnics, camping, and traveling. Elva enjoyed babysitting, ceramics, knitting, sewing, macramé, quilting, embroidering, crocheting and planting flowers in her yard. She enjoyed collecting owls, gnomes and bears. Elva is survived by their two sons, Edward Colley of Creswell and Nick of Eugene, one grandson Kellen Colley, four granddaughters Kaylea Willhite, Jennifer Colley, Amanda Kennedy, Courtney Colley, one step granddaughter Pettina Sams, four great granddaughters Margaret Kennedy, MayLynn Colley, Kaycie Willhite, Kimber Colley, one great grandson Justin Kennedy, two great step grandsons Jayden Montgomery, Drew Sams, and one great step granddaughter Haley Sams. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00am Friday, March 11, 2016 at Elkton Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
