Zachary Newman
June 26th, 2000 - July 28th, 2018
Life Story Zachary James Newman was born June 26, 2000 in Mesa, Arizona to Jody Isaacsen and James Newman. He was raised in Danville, Kentucky by his grandmother, Donna Isaacsen and their dog, Ugg. Zack and Donna (and the dog) moved to Meridian in 2015. Everyone who met Zack knew him to be compassionate, kind, funny, and a true friend. He loved to talk to people and get to know them. Many shopping trips with Donna included Zack disappearing from her side, only to be found shaking the hand of a veteran (he had a special spot in his heart for those who had fought in Vietnam) and thanking them for their service. Zack was active in the Launchpad program at Meridian High School and graduated this past June. He adored his family. He loved teasing his Nan (Donna) and kept in almost daily contact with his mom and uncles via text. He loved spending time with his niece and nephew, and could be found every day at his brother, Justin's house. He loved his mom, Jody, more than anything and was grateful for the life she had given him. Zack is survived by his grandmother Donna; his mother Jody; his brothers: Justin (and family) and Dylan; his grandfather, Win; his father, James; three uncles, and a vast extended family. "...I have been resurrected and I'm no longer my old self. Jesus truly is amazing and is forever loving and forgiving. He loves us no matter what sins we have committed. The Devil knows our names but calls us by our sins, The Lord knows our sins but chooses to call us by our names." *See "Service Information" tab for service details.

Accent Funeral Home
A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
